Technology & project execution in critical minerals

We don't trade minerals — we build the capacity to make them.

Modular, mobile, reconfigurable extraction and refining, deployed where the ore, brine, or tailings already are. NECM integrates established, licensed process technology and executes projects that turn stranded deposits and waste streams into finished critical-mineral supply.

Our mission

Build and secure critical-mineral supply — from the mine face to finished product.

NECM is a technology and project-execution company — not a commodities trader. We help miners, tailings and waste owners, recyclers, and governments build the capacity to produce the critical minerals modern industry, energy, and defense depend on.

We do it by integrating established, licensed unit processes into transportable systems and executing the projects that put them to work — process technology, engineering, and delivery, backed by an extensive global network of technical experts across hydro-, pyro-, and electrometallurgy. The result is supply built where the resource is, on terms that de-risk the project. We operate in the United States and abroad.

What we do

Four capabilities, one goal: capacity you can deploy.

We assemble proven, licensed technologies into systems and projects that produce metal — targeting the midstream processing bottleneck where supply is most constrained.

Modular & mobile on-site extraction & refining

Transportable, pre-engineered units that integrate established, licensed unit processes — leaching, solvent extraction, ion exchange, electrowinning, flotation — and process ore or waste right at the deposit instead of shipping it to a distant plant. Reconfigurable to selectively target different metals as the feedstock changes.

Deep tech in applied metallurgy

Assembling and executing at the electro-, hydro-, and pyrometallurgy frontier using proven, licensed routes — matching the right process chemistry to the ore body or waste stream and standing it up as a working flowsheet.

Direct mineral extraction

Selective, direct-extraction chemistries — including DLE-type approaches — that pull a target metal straight from brine, leach solution, or ore, cutting steps, footprint, and reagent load compared with conventional flowsheets.

Energy storage on molten-salt electrolysis

The same electrochemistry that makes rare-earth and light metals, extended to long-duration energy storage — turning our metallurgical core into grid-scale capacity as well as material output.

A commercial model that fits the deal.

We structure each engagement to de-risk the project — and we can flex across the value chain, from the mine face to finished product.

  • Sell systems — deliver the modular units outright.
  • Lease or rent — deploy capacity without the capital outlay.
  • Build-own-operate / tolling — we run it and process your feed.
  • Co-invest / equity — share the risk and the upside.

Who we serve

Junior miners with marginal or stranded deposits · tailings and reprocessing owners · recyclers of black mass and magnet scrap · governments standing up domestic supply · and larger miners that want flexible, redeployable capacity.

Focus minerals

Reconfigurable systems, built for complex and secondary streams.

Because our units can be re-tuned to target different metals as the feedstock changes, they suit multi-metal ores, tailings, and recycled material — not just a single clean concentrate.

  • LiLithiumBrine & hard-rock, direct extraction
  • RERare EarthsNdPr & heavy REEs, magnet scrap
  • CuCopperOres, leach solutions, tailings
  • NiNickelMulti-metal & secondary recovery
  • CoCobaltBlack mass & complex streams
  • VVanadiumOres & waste-stream recovery
  • WTungstenHard-rock & scrap streams
  • AuGold & PGMsMulti-metal & recycled feed

Focus areas reflect the deposits and waste streams our reconfigurable systems are designed to address. They indicate applicability, not current inventory, production, or a claim of specific projects.

Why now

The bottleneck is midstream — exactly where we operate.

Critical-mineral supply, and especially midstream refining and processing, is heavily concentrated. A single country dominates the processing of rare earths, graphite, gallium, and germanium — so even resources mined elsewhere often depend on it to become usable material.

The United States and its allies are now urgently reshoring processing capacity, backed by major public funding and policy — the Inflation Reduction Act, the Defense Production Act, DoD and DOE programs, and FEOC sourcing rules. The scarce piece is not ore in the ground; it is the capacity to refine it. That midstream gap is precisely where NECM builds.

  • Concentrated

Processing capacity sits in too few hands, leaving supply exposed.

  • Reshoring

Policy and funding are pushing to rebuild domestic and allied capacity.

  • Midstream

Refining, not mining, is the true bottleneck to secure supply.

  • Deployable

Modular capacity stands up fast, where the resource already is.
