Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-08

Please note: This is a general template, not legal advice — have qualified counsel review before relying on it.

New England Critical Minerals ("NECM," "we," "us," or "our") is a registered trade name of Lubbe LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit necm.ai or contact us, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. We value your privacy and collect only what we need to operate our site and respond to you.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us (contact form)

When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you choose to provide, which may include your name, email address, company, country, phone number, the area of interest you select, and the message you write. You control what you enter; if you do not wish to share a detail, please leave it out (though some fields may be required to send the form).

Information collected automatically (website analytics)

Like most websites, our server records basic technical information about each visit so we can keep the site secure, understand our audience, and improve it. This first-party analytics may include:

  • Your IP address, and an approximate location (country, region, and city) derived from it;
  • Your device, browser, and operating system type;
  • The pages you visit and page titles, and the referring page or source that led you to us;
  • The date and time of your visit;
  • Your browser language, screen size, and time zone;
  • A rotating, non-cookie visitor identifier — a short-lived code derived by hashing your IP address, browser details, and a periodically changing secret. It lets us group a device's visits within a day without setting any cookie or storing your raw identity, and it cannot be reversed to identify you.

We may also record whether a visit appears to come from an automated bot rather than a person.

2. Why We Collect It

  • To respond to your inquiries — so we can reply to messages and follow up on genuine business interest;
  • To secure and operate the site — detecting abuse, bots, and technical problems, and keeping the site running reliably;
  • To understand our audience and improve — learning which pages are useful and where visitors come from, so we can make the site better.

3. First-Party Use — We Do Not Sell Your Data

Our analytics are first-party: the data is collected by and stored on our own systems for our own use. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking networks.

To turn your IP address into an approximate location, our server makes a lookup request to the third-party geolocation service ip-api.com. That request is made server-side and is used only to derive a coarse country/region/city; we cache the result so we do not repeat lookups for the same address. No other personal information is shared with that service for advertising or profiling.

4. Cookies and Do-Not-Track

Our analytics are designed to work without cookies — the visitor identifier described above is derived on the server and rotates, so we do not need to store an identifier on your device for analytics. We may use a strictly necessary cookie only if required for a specific feature or security purpose. Because our system does not track you across other websites, we treat every visitor the same way; if your browser sends a Do-Not-Track or Global Privacy Control signal, our first-party, non-advertising analytics behavior is unchanged, as we do not perform the kind of cross-site tracking those signals are designed to limit.

5. How We Store and Protect It

Contact-form submissions and analytics records are stored in our own database on our hosting infrastructure and are accessible only to authorized personnel of Lubbe LLC. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. How Long We Keep It

We retain contact-form submissions for as long as needed to respond to and manage your inquiry and any resulting business relationship, and to meet legal or record-keeping obligations. We retain analytics records for a limited period sufficient for security and audience analysis, after which they are deleted or aggregated. You may ask us to delete your information sooner as described below.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email us at info@necm.ai. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity before acting. You can also limit what we collect by not submitting the contact form and by using your browser's privacy controls.

8. Children's Privacy

Our site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.

9. International Visitors

NECM operates in the United States and works with parties abroad. If you access the site from outside the United States, your information may be processed and stored in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page; your continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
